Build the Crab Bot

1. Built 4 7-hole metal frames to one blueboard. The two frames at the top will be at an angle!
2. Bolt 2 4-hole metal frames three rows up from the bottom of the blueboard.

1. Bolt a long L-frame to the center of the blueboard. The short side should be on the blueboard and the long side should be perpendicular to it.
2. Bolt a short L-frame above each of the 4-hole metal frames.

1. Bolt a 4-hole metal frame between each set of 7-hole metal frames. They should be bolted on the third hole in for each side.
2. Bolt a 10-hole metal frame to the end of each 4-hole metal frame.
3. Bolt 7-hole metal frames between to attach the 10-hole metal frames to the middle 7-hole metal frames.

Note: you may need to adjust the angle of some of the metal frames to make these steps work!

1. Bolt long L-frames to the end of each 10-hole metal frame. They should form a right angle with the 10-hole metal frames.
2. Attach the claws to the 10-hole metal frames with 2 more 10-hole metal frames. Again, you may need to adjust the angles of your parts to make this happen!
3. Attach long standoffs to each of the 7-hole metal frames.

1. Bolt a DC motor to the two short L-frames.
2. Bolt the battery box to the long L-frame in the center of the blueboard.
3. Fasten the wheel to the DC motor. The wheel will stay on without the black screw!

1. Use 4 short standoffs to make 2 stacked standoffs.
2. Attach each stacked standoff to the Smart Inventor Board. Pay attention to the placement!
3. Bolt the Smart Inventor Board to the top row of the blueboard. It should be positioned in the center between the claws.

To wire your Crab Bot, make sure the Smart Inventor Board is facing you:

• Attach the motors to their respective spots on the Smart Inventor Board (M1, M2, M3, and M4 are all marked).
• Make sure that the red wires are the in the negative position (facing the inside) and that the black wires are in the positive position (facing the outside)!
