Windows PyCharm Installation and Setup

An IDE is an application where you can write, edit, debug, and run your code. In this lesson, you will install PyCharm Edu on Windows and set it up to run CoDrone commands.

Step 1

Install PyCharm Edu

You are going to install PyCharm Edu, which is what you’ll use for programing CoDrone. PyCharm is what many actual Python programmers use!

Step 2

PyCharm environment setup

In this video, you will create a new project, link it to your Python interpreter that you just installed, and install the right CoDrone library.

Step 3

Test flight

To make sure everything is ready, copy the following code into a new file and run a flight test. Watch the video to learn how!
