Building the Remote

1.Use two long bolts and two nuts to attach the blueboard to the Smart Inventor Board.

2. Attach two short standoffs to the blueboard. They should be in the third and fifth columns in the third row.

3. Attach the joysticks to their boards. They might have come already attached in your kit so if this is the case for you, skip this step!

4. Bolt the joysticks to either side of the blueboards. The pins should be facing the Smart Inventor Board.

5. Take the lid off the battery box. Bolt two short standoffs to the battery box. The standoffs should be on the outside!

6. Attach the battery box to the bottom of the remote. The standoffs from the battery box should be in the fourth column and in the fourth and sixth rows.

7. Next, bolt the Bluetooth board to the two standoffs on the blueboard.

8. Plug the wire from the battery box into its place on the Smart Inventor Board.

9. Plug the SVG connectors to the joystick pins and into the SVG ports on the Smart Inventor Board. Pay attention to the sequence of the colors and the orientation!

10. Plug the black serial connector into its spot on the bottom lefthand corner of the Bluetooth board and the bottom righthand corner of the Smart Inventor Board.

11. Get comfortable with the CoDrone remote! We included a picture for reference.
