Build the Trailer Bot

1. Attach four short L-frames to one blueboard. When you’re finished, flip it upside down.
2. Attach five long L-frames to another blueboard, with the long ends in the air.

1. Use one more long L-frame to attach the battery box to the long L-frame at the back of the blueboard. You can position the battery box wherever you want, but make sure the short end of the L-frame is sticking up and over the top of the battery box.
2. Use two short standoffs to make one stacked standoff.
3. Bolt a 4-hole metal frame to the top of the battery box’s long L-frame with a nylon nut.
4. Bolt the stacked standoff onto the end of the 4-hole metal frame.
5. Attach your blueboard with the short L-frames to your blueboard with the long L-frames.

1. Bolt the motor casings to the tops of the long L-frames.
2. Attach the wheels to the motors with black screws. The wheels will stay attached without the black screws if you don’t have them.
3. Flip your Trailer Bot over so the wheels are on the ground.

1. Bolt two long standoffs to the Smart Inventor Board. Pay attention to their placement!
2. Attach the Smart Inventor Board to the bottom of the Trailer Bot. The Smart Inventor Board should be touching the ground, or at least be very close to it.
3. Attach two long standoffs to the top of the Trailer Bot.

1. Bolt two short L-frames to the edges of one blueboard.
2. Use two 4-hole metal frames to attach this blueboard with another blueboard. When you’re finished, flip it upside down.
3. Make eight sets of stacked standoffs with short standoffs and attach them to the two blueboards. Pay attention to their placement!

1. Bolt two 10-hole metal frames to each other to make one long metal frame. The edges should be overlapping. Repeat so you have two long metal frames!
2. Bolt the long metal frames to the tops of the stacked standoffs. You’ll also need to bolt two 7-hole metal frames to the tops of the standoffs so you have a metal frame rectangle. Next, add two long standoffs to the front and bolt a 7-hole metal frame to that.
3. Attach two horn brackets to the short L-frames underneath the blueboards.
4. Bolt one of the standoffs on the bottom of the trailer to the L-frame on the battery box.

Before you start wiring your Trailer Bot, make sure the Smart Inventor Board is facing you.

• The motor on your right is M1.
• The motor on your left is M2.
• Attach the motors to their respective spots on the Smart Inventor Board (M1, M2, M3, and M4 are all marked).
• Make sure that the red wires are the in the negative position (facing the inside) and that the black wires are in the positive position (facing the outside)!
